Anaheim is located in Orange County, part of the Los Angeles Metropolitan area, and 

is a great place to rent multifamily, duplex, triplex, fourplex and larger commercial apartment 

properties. Its job industry, conveniences, and attractions make this a great place to live and 

there is a good market available to rent multifamily properties such as duplexes, triplexes, and

Anaheim’s population was 343,248 as of 2012 and according to the 2010 Census it is 

the 10th most populated city in California and the most populated city in Orange County. The 

estimated median household income in 2011 was $56,858 (it was $47,122 in 2000). This is just 

a hair short of the California median which was $57,287 in 2011.

Anaheim is perhaps best known for its theme parks, like Disneyland, sports teams 

and convention center. Because of this, many of its residents are in the construction, health, 

tourism, and accommodations business. Disneyland employs over 22,000 workers and Kaiser 

Permanente employs almost 10,000. Northgate González Markets, Anaheim Regional Medical 

Center, AT&T, Hilton, L-3 Communications, Time Warner Cable and West Anaheim Medical 

Center are also large employers. 

The city also enjoys being close to a variety of conveniences. Anaheim is equidistant 

from both John Wayne Airport and Long Beach Airport (15 miles), but is also near LAX (30 

miles), and Ontario (35 miles) airports. The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) 

provides bus service for Anaheim with local and county-wide routes, and both the OCTA 

and the Los Angeles County Metro offer routes connecting Anaheim to Los Angeles County. 

Anaheim has 4 local hospitals: AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center, Kaiser Foundation, 

West Anaheim Medical Center and Western Medical Center. There are also a number of 

universities and colleges in or near Anaheim, with the biggest being Cal State Fullerton which 

has over 25,000 full time enrolled students and is only 4 miles away. 

Anaheim also has many attractions, the most popular of which are its theme parks: 

Disneyland, California Adventure, and Knott’s Berry Farm. But also popular are ice skating at 

The Rinks, Medieval Times, Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, the Honda Center and Angel Stadium. 

Anaheim also has large retail centers including the Anaheim Plaza, Anaheim Town Square, and 

the Anaheim GardenWalk which provides retail, dining and entertainment.

All of these features make Anaheim a great city to rent multifamily properties such as 

duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes and larger commercial apartment buildings. This vibrant, growing 

community has great attractions, a healthy work industry, and great rentals. The density of the 

city and the desire for people to live here, make it an ideal location for multifamily living and the 

city does have great duplex, triplex, and fourplex properties.
