Arcadia is located in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County and is a great

2010" for the second year in a row. Its job industry, conveniences, and attractions make this a

Arcadia’s population was 57,497 as of 2012. The estimated median household income in

Anita mall is a major shopping center in the city and features Sport Chalet, Borders Books

and Music, Dave & Busters, Coach, Talbots, and numerous smaller retailers and full-service

eateries. The top employers in the city include Vons (459), Emergency Groups' Office (300),

Macy’s (294), WorleyParsons (277), Nordstrom (274) and J.C Penney (272). 

The city also enjoys being close to a variety of conveniences. The nearest major airport 

is Bob Hope Airport (BUR). This airport has domestic flights from Burbank and is 24 miles from 

the center of Arcadia. Another major airport is Long Beach Airport (LGB), which has domestic

flights from Long Beach and is 33 miles from Arcadia. Arcadia's local hospital is the Methodist

Hospital of Southern CA. There are also colleges and universities around Arcadia, the biggest

being the University of Southern California with 30,578 full time enrolled students 9 miles away.

Arcadia has many attractions, the most famous of which is the Santa Anita Park, which

features a thoroughbred racetrack known for prestigious races including the Santa Anita Derby,

the Santa Anita Handicap and the Breeders' Cup. Another top attraction is the Los Angeles

County Arboretum & Botanic Garden which is a 127 acre botanical garden and historical site.

Other attractions include Arcadia Par 3 Golf Course, Arcadia Park, Wilderness Park, the Ruth 

and Charles Gilb Arcadia Historical Museum, and The Westfield Santa Anita mall.

All of these features make Arcadia a great place to rent multifamily properties such as 

duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes and larger commercial apartment buildings. This vibrant, diverse

community has great attractions, a healthy work industry, and many rentals. The density of the
