Brea is located in the northwestern corner of Orange County and is a great place to rent

industry, conveniences, and attractions make this a great place to live and there is a good

Brea is an important retail center because of the large Brea Mall, which has a J.C. 

Penney, Macy's, Macy's Men's & Home, Nordstrom, Sears, boutique shops, and a food court. 

Also contributing to their local economy is the recently redeveloped Brea Downtown, which 

has a mix of trendy restaurants and outdoor cafes, a variety of shops and boutiques, theatres, 

eclectic buildings and sunny public plazas. 

The city also enjoys being close to a variety of conveniences. The nearest major airport 

is John Wayne Airport (SNA). This airport has international and domestic flights from Santa 

Ana and is 20 miles from the center of Brea. There are several hospitals nearby, including St 

Jude Medical Center, Western Medical Center, and AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center. 

There are many colleges around Brea, but the largest of them is the California State University 

Fullerton, with 25,436 full time enrolled students. Fullerton College, Mt San Antonio College, 

and California State Polytechnic University Pomona are also nearby. 

Brea has many attractions, including its extensive public art program which began in 

1975 and continues today with over 140 artworks in the collection located throughout the city. 

Music, movies and comedy animate Brea’s nightlife. Brea downtown is home to 22 movie 

screens, the Improv comedy club, and a lively mix of special events, annual Jazz Festival, and 

seasonal holiday activities. Other notable attractions are the Curtis Theatre and the Brea Art 

Gallery. Visitors can take a walk back in time and experience Brea’s rich history by touring the 

Brea Museum and Heritage Center and the Olinda Oil Museum and Trail.

All of these features make Brea a great place to rent multifamily properties such as 

duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes and larger commercial apartment buildings. This vibrant, diverse 

community has great attractions, a healthy work industry, and great rentals. The density of the 

city and the desire for people to live here, make it an ideal location for multifamily living and the
