There are several hospitals close to Buena Park, including AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center (3 miles), Tri-City Regional Medical Center (5 miles), and Western Medical Center in Anaheim (6 miles). There are many colleges near Buena Park, but the largest of them is the California State University Fullerton 8 miles away, with 25,436 full time enrolled students.


Buena Park's has many attractions, the most popular of which is its E-Zone district, located along Beach Boulevard, and is home to several well-known tourist destinations: Knott's Berry Farm theme park and its sister water park Knott's Soak City, Pirate's Dinner Adventure Show, and a Medieval Times dinner show. The E-Zone is also home a Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum, the Japanese Village and Deer Park on Knott Avenue. Other attractions include Los Coyotes Country Club, Ralph B. Clark Regional Park, the Whitaker-Jaynes House, the Bacon House, the Stage Stop Hotel, and the Tice House.
